Terms & Conditions of Business

1. Our Agreement

Simple-Driving (the “Agent”) acts as a booking and administrative service. All practical driving tuition is provided by Mohammod Islam (the “Instructor”), a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

By booking a lesson or paying a deposit, you enter into:

  • An administrative contract with Simple-Driving for booking services.

  • A tuition contract with the Instructor for the delivery of driving lessons.

2. Driver Requirements

  • Licence: You must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence. This must be produced on your first lesson.

  • Eyesight: You must be able to read a standard number plate from 20.5 metres (glasses or contacts allowed).

  • Fitness to Drive: You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If the Instructor deems you unfit to drive for health or safety reasons, the lesson will be cancelled and the full fee will apply.

3. Payments & Deposits

  • Single Lessons: Paid in full online at the time of booking.

  • Package Bookings: Pay a £40 reservation deposit online to Simple-Driving (the Agent) to secure your chosen slots. The remaining balance is paid directly to your Instructor on your first lesson (by cash or bank transfer).

  • Card Payments: If you wish to pay the Instructor by card, you must notify them at least 24 hours in advance. A 3% card usage fee applies.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Should you wish to cancel after placing a order you will be charged £30. Resheduling can be done upto 90 minutes before appoinment time, £10 for 1 hour lesson and £15 for 2 hours lesson is payable to the instructor. Within 90 minutes or no show will mean you lose all the session money.   • Instructor Cancellations: If the Instructor must cancel due to vehicle breakdown or emergency, a replacement lesson will be offered. Simple-Driving and the Instructor are not liable for any further costs (e.g., lost wages).

5. The Driving Test (2026 Regulations)

  • Booking: Per DVSA regulations, learners must book their own practical test via the official GOV.UK DVSA website.

  • Vehicle Use: Use of the Instructor’s car for a test is subject to their approval of your “test-readiness.”

  • Test Fees: Fees paid to DVSA are separate from fees paid to the Instructor for car use on the day (currently ~£130 for a 2-hour minimum).

6. Refunds

  • Refunds & Processing Fees: All refunds are subject to processing fees charged by the payment provider (currently around 2.1% + £0.20 per transaction in the UK), which are non-refundable.

  • Lesson & Package Refunds: If a lesson or package is cancelled within the allowed notice period, refunds will be issued minus any non-refundable processing fees. Read 3 and 4 above for more details.

  • Payment Method: Refunds are made via UK bank transfer within 7 days of receiving your payment details.

7. Privacy & Data

Your data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. We only share your details between Simple-Driving (the Agent) and the Instructor to facilitate your lessons. Your data will not be used for marketing without your consent.
