A Lifetime of Driving Expertise (Since 1993)

Experience is the best teacher, and I have been in the driver’s seat for over three decades. I passed my first car test in Rhyl, North Wales, back in 1993. Since then, I haven’t just been a driver — I’ve been a lifelong learner, sitting multiple professional driving and instructor exams across various vehicle categories.

Because I have been a test candidate myself many times, I understand the pressure first-hand. I use this empathy to help my students stay calm, focused, and confident behind the wheel.

Before becoming a DVSA Approved Instructor in 2014, I spent years serving the Bradford community in public transport:

  • London & Bradford Bus Specialist: Started with City of London Buses before moving to Bradford. I’ve driven every bus route operating from the Bradford depot.

  • Pioneer in School Safety: Part of the team that introduced the UK’s first Yellow School Buses in Halifax and Bradford, giving me invaluable experience with young drivers and a commitment to road safety.

What this means for you: I know Bradford inside out — from the busy hubs of Thornbury and Heaton to tricky shortcuts and test-route roundabouts, there isn’t a road I don’t know intimately.
